Language and culture

Munshiganj's position on the map of Bangladesh is very much like a central island. The Padma is bounded on the south, Meghna on the east, Dhaleshwari Shitalakshya on the north, and Kaliganga and Arial Beel on the west. But business, trade, education, culture, and the need for people to travel to other dialect areas for professional needs, and the arrival and residence of people from other dialect areas, have become a mixed language today. Due to the proximity of Munshiganj district capital to Dhaka, there has been a lot of exchange with the dialects of the remote areas of Dhaka prevalent in Dhaka.
